5 Day HolidayCleanse-2

5 Day Holiday Cleanse

Every year around the holidays I go on a cleanse.  It’s my way of avoiding overindulging in all the carb, salt, and fat ridden food that will grace the dinner table each and every season.

Some might think I’m crazy to avoid eating during this time of year.  But I would much rather live with the name calling rather than the guilt and anguish I feel after I’ve devoured multiple servings of sweet potato soufflé, macaroni and cheese, and fresh baked cakes and pies.

Cleansing during the holidays is not for those that have a calendar full of parties and festivities.  In fact, I wouldn’t recommend cleansing if you are working through the holidays or expect to be in any high stress environments.  You need at least 5 days to manage your liquids, prepare your foods, and preserve your strength in energy.

Your cleanse can last as long as you want, within reason, and you can use whatever you think your body would respond to with ease.

5 Day Holiday Cleanse

Day 1- 1 Gallon Arden’s Garden 2 Day Detox and 1 Gallon Water

Day 2-1 Gallon Arden’s Garden 2 Day Detox and 1 Gallon Water

Day 3-1 Gallon of fresh pressed juice and 1 Gallon Water

Day 4-Raw food (fruits, greens, vegetables ,and nuts), 1/2 Gallon of fresh pressed juice, and 1/2 Gallon of Water

Day 5-Raw food (fruits, green, vegetables, and nuts), 1/2 Gallon of fresh pressed juice, and 1/2 Gallon of Water.

After Day 5 slowly incorporate cooked foods back into your meals.  If you would like to step further into clean eating, refrain from eating any processed food for the the next 4 weeks including rice, chips, pasta, and bread.

  1. I definitely believe in cleanses. I tend to do EOV which really does a great job. I recently heard of Naked Me Teas which also does a pretty good job I hear. I always juice so that isn’t a problem for me. I have some fresh squeezed cranberry juice in my fridge right now. YUM! Happy Holidays. #BLMGirls

    1. I haven’t tried any other cleanses yet. The Ardens Garden usually works for me to boost my energy. I have though tried some cranberry juice shots!! Wow!

  3. I have been toying with the idea of doing a cleanse. I’ve never done one and everyone I know that has done one said they were better for it in the end. I may give this one a go if I can get some of the Arden Garden detox.

  4. I have purchased the 2 day cleanser this Friday morning 11/15/19. Not planning on starting until Sunday evening, 11/18/19. I would love to continue with the 5 day cleansing. I started loosing weight (14 pounds) and now I have plateaued and picked up 2 pounds. I became depressed and will not get back on the scale. My boss went on this cleanser and I seen her outcome and that motivated me again to stick with this weight loss. I’ll keep you all posted. WISH ME LUCK!!

    1. Best of luck to you! This 2 Day Detox from Ardens Gardens continues to be my go to for helping me get over my sugar cravings and reset my bad eating habits. It gives me pure energy.
