Costa Rica with Kids: Itinerary and Weather

We spent two weeks in Costa Rica with our kids, 9 and 11,  to learn Spanish and to explore the country.  Our trip started in San Jose, Costa Rica. From there we drove to Manuel Antonio, Playa Flamingo for our Spanish Immersion class, then to the Andaz Resort Papagayo Peninsula.

I listed our family activities and linked the locations.  I included weather which is very important for families traveling in between Costa Rica’s two seasons, rainy and dry.

We had a wonderful time and recommend all of the activities for your trip to Costa Rica with kids!

  1. Love your posts! So informative and short! Perfect for late night anxiety reading. I will be staying at the Andaz in June with 2 kids. Do you have any recommendations or suggestions? Thank you!
