Singapore Botanic Gardens

Photo Journal: Singapore Botanic Gardens

Singapore Botanic Gardens was created in 1859 and has recently been named a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

I had an opportunity to photograph the gardens while on a visit to Singapore with my husband.  We experienced so much during our trip and the gardens was one of my favorites.

It’s open 7 days a week from 5am to midnight.  There are several gardens located within the Botanic Gardens including the Jacob’s Ballas Children’s Garden and the National Orchid Garden (small fee for entry).

Visitors will be fascinated by all the lush tropical gardens, plants, and flowers spread over the 182 acre oasis.

Photographed using Canon PowerShot SX110.
